"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Good Mornin'

Eric and I were blessed to spend the week in Concordia Missouri.
While there, we attended a Classical Lutheran Education conference that was hosted by the CCLE.
I intend to write a full post on how our trip was (without children),  tell about all the brilliant minds and kind hearts we encountered, then I'll try to share some of the valuable information we were given. But, since my crew has risen and they are hungry, here is a quick thought.  It's been weighing on my mind.

Try to ponder this....

What would it be like if we treated the Bible like we treat our cell phones??

What if we carried the Bible around in our pockets, purses, and diaper bags?

...so we could pull it out at any moment...

(Insert Bible in place of The Little Mermaid = Much better picture!)

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as birthday and Christmas presents?

What if always had it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm?!?!?...

Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being
disconnected.... because Jesus already paid the bill.

P.S.
Scroll back up and look at that man....
That man is kneeling down to read to his boys...
at a community event...
in the middle of town...

(SWOON)

Me-oh-my..... how we are blessed!
